This is an introduction to Tree Risk Assessment and is a precursor to TRAQ. Tree Risk Assessment promotes the safety of people and property by providing a standardized and systematic process for assessing tree risk. The results of a tree risk assessment can provide tree owners and risk managers with the information to make informed decisions to enhance tree benefits, health, and longevity.

Watershed Forestry Network meetings are open to all those involved with the care of trees or who have an interest in trees from communities within and surrounding the Grand Traverse Bay, Saginaw Bay or Lower Grand River Watersheds. The meetings are informal to encourage discussion and an opportunity to meet those with similar interests and responsibilities.
